Happy New Year

A Very Happy New Year to one and all

We had the most lovely surprise last night. 

All my children are adults 29, 26 and 20 and were all out and about doing their own thing partying

at five to twelve our door was chapped and here they all were...

Home to bring in the bells with their mum and dad....well that was me blubbing like a baby

What a wonderful start to the New Year.

As the weather as been dreadful lately 

I have been keeping candles at the ready I love candles and holders anyway and

I have wanted to make one of these for ages.

A Jar Candle Holder

I used an old coffee jar that I had and attached a doily

I wrapped brown twine around the jar 3 times and fastened off

I cut out a Diesire Heart Doily in red felt

and adhere to the jar using Collall 3D Gel Glue

Basic Gray Button with brown twine to fine off.

A Yankee votive inside and we are ready for anything.....

I generated the sentiment on the computer and then cut it out 

using Diesire Scalloped Tags

I added lots of glamour dust

The red gingham paper is a Pink Petticoat download I LOVES it

boy winter really has set in I've been freezing lately.

So I have been snuggled up on the settee at night 

with my on going crochet blanket which is keeping me warm.

One For The Boys

A very good morning folks today I have another sneak peek for you

Leann is on Create and Craft on Tuesday 10th December at 9pm

with a fabulous Crafters Companion Pick of the Week

I have used Brick Pattern Darice embossing folder and Coredinations card

The Stars were embossed and cut out from my Ultimate Pro

The sentiments are from Memories Are Made Sentimentals stamp set

I popped up the darker embossed Brick for effect

I've added a topper from a poundstore topper pack

 however it would look just as good with a stamped image

I’m back with another post today.

I love this Darice Reindeer in Corner embossing folder

This is a one layer card

I embossed Reindeer in Corner to the inner half of the card

and embossed Embossalicious Petite Dot to the outer

I added Glamour dust to the antlers

The tag is Diesire Scalloped Tags

I have stamped stars from Clearly Besotted Stamps

Signature Christmas Additions stamp set, added red gingham and voila!

another sneak peek today this time I'm showcasing Darice embossing folder

I decided to use my folder this time on patterned paper 

 it really does give a fabulous effect. 

I used my Whisper pens and coloured the acorn

Zip....itty Do Dah

Hello....

I am in full Christmas mode here at the moment...

I {Heart} Christmas

So I've been knitting, card making etc...

I also found time to put my decorations up

This is one of my favourite decorations. 

Isn't it cute. 

The stockings have the names of my 3 grandsons on them.

 Sadly we couldn't find one with Coles my youngest grandsons

 name so I had to buy a blank one and write his name on it

 however it does look ok.

Knitting is my first love 

my grandmother taught me to knit when I was 4

I feel truly blessed 

I have been working on some scarves for Christmas presents

this is made using Zip yarn

It truly is beautiful Yarn...I love it

It looks like small beads when knitted 

however as you can see its thread

It kinda looks like a ladder effect

I have started a blog just for my Knitting, Crocheting and Sewing hope you can join me over there too

Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas

A very good morning I have another post for you today I do hope that you are enjoying my sneak peaks of the latest release of new DARICE embossing folders from Crafter's Companion

Today I am showcasing Oblong Doily

I have used Centura Pearl card for this one 

I embossed Oblong Doily and cut it out. I embossed Reindeer in Corner on black card and also cut that out. The secret to cutting out intricate pieces is to keep your scissors still and move the card.

I have used  DIESIRE Dies and Embossalicious folder which are listed below

Darice ~ Reindeer in Corner, Oblong Doily
Embossalicious ~ Petite Dot
Diesire ~ Heart Doilies, Lace Border 3, Scalloped Tags, Ornamantal Flower Frame,
Other ~ Centura Pearl, Black Card, Ultimate Pro

I added some Darice Glitter glue around the edge of the embossed panel

and finally I added some Flower Soft for snow....so whatcha think do you like?

When Santa Got Stuck In The Chimney

A very good morning everyone...today I have something a bit different to share with you for Crafter's Companion I don't normally made shaped cards however when I received my new DARICE Brick Pattern embossing folder I knew exactly what I wanted to make.....

I started by making a standard A6 card

 I then adhered core'dinations card embossed 

using the Brick Pattern to the front of the card base. 

I cut out snow from white core'dinations and covered it in glamour dust

I drew and cut out boots and legs and adhered them to the back of the card

The letters are by Doodlebug and they were orange so I coloured them using my Spectrum Noir pens

and Voila!

Ruldolf The Red Nose Reindeer

Morning folks...today I am starting some sneak peaks of the new DARICE embossing folders from Crafter's Companion

This has to be my new favourite embossing folder now I just love Reindeer in Corner

I have used pearl card to make my base card.

After embossing my Reindeer I scored 3 lines at the edge of the white card using my Ultimate Pro  and

my boxer board

I stamped my sentiment onto a DIESIRE Scalloped Tag and attached it to my delish gingham ribbon and finished by adding a red gem to the Reindeer's nose

It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Morning folks...I have been very organised this year, the decorations are up and my cards are written out some even in the post. I just have a couple of special cards to finish and get them in the post too. Today I want to share the card I made for my son Scott and his partner Alice. They loved it....

I have used a Forever Friends Kraft Note topper. The design paper is by Cosmo Cricket....lush I love Cosmo Cricket paper pads. the sentiment was computer generated.

Cuttlebug Snowflake and lots of bling.....

and my favourite red gingham ribbon...again...I know....addicted..lol

I scored lines top and bottom using my Ultimate Pro
