 Happy Friday peeps.......its the weekend..today we are going to see our grandson Jack at school in the Harvest Service its his first one since starting Nursery in August....excited muchly!

 is Hearts and this card fits the bill perfectly!

 I love this design i have to admit......Penny Black Clearly Love Set....

Heart and Music stamps stamped in Versafine Black

I have embossed a border along the bottom and I embossed the Spellbinders Floral Oval

onto the card without going through the card (to achieve this effect you need to use the tan mat)

Penny Black Monthly Challenge

 A very good morning.....today is the first Saturday of the new month

 can you believe it is August already!!

We have a new challenge for you from

Our challenge for you this month is

"Double the Trouble"

We would like you to use 2 image stamps

I have used a stamp from "Flower Gallery Set" and coloured using my Promarkers

~ Promarkers Used ~

Flowers ~ Pumpkin, Honeycomb, Gold, Tan

Leaves ~ Pear Green, Forest Green

 The embossing folder is by Stampin Up as is the card stock. I have used Spellbinders Floral Oval as my frame. Organza ribbon to finish.

My image is coloured using my fabby SPECTRUM NOIR pens by Crafter's Companion

The papers are by Stampin Up and the card for matting is by DCWV. the large flower is made by layering up Prima flowers and then adding a brad in the center. The border is a Marianne Design Creatable again cut out in DCWV cardstock. I have used a Paintbox Poppets Sentiment to finish off.

Kath is one of the nicest people you could meet, she's a hoot! and I am very lucky to call her my friend we met several years ago due to blogging and she not only has a heart of gold she is one in a million!

I am joining the islands celebrations today and tomorrow I am on Stage for our first performance of the season with the amature dramatic club here on the island on Sunday evening! and our very own Cumbrae Queen (Gala Queen) will be crowned on Monday....I was the Cumbrae Queen many moons ago in 1979....eek I still can resight my speech lol

So here is my interpretation of this weeks theme

I am trying not to buy any stash (very difficult to keep to) as i have so much and I simply can't bring myself to sell it..... so I have decided to use it up! the paper on this card is by K and Company....I'm not normally a green person however I do love this paper :O) and think it works well with this image. the image is coloured using Spectrum Noir pens it looks purple in the picci however it is more pink IRL....I have added pearls to the top and bottom edges.

The flowers are by Prima and Martha Stewart punched leaves and frond to compliment them.

A very good morning and I am bursting at the seams to tell you my good news. I am back with the

Penny Black Saturday Challenge

here is my take on this weeks challenge

I have coloured this cutie using my fabby SPECTRUM NOIR pens. the background is embossed using Hearts cuttlebig embossing folder and i punched a border using my Martha Stewart zig zag punch!

I cut a felt heart out usig my cuttlebug heart punch and emboss set and then cut out another two smaller hearts free hand. i attached 3 gems to the large heart for effect!

My Favourite Five Christmas Cards of 2011

Happy Christmas Eve peeps!!!! I'm so cited!

 Every year I take part in the uber talented Debby's Favourite 5 during the festive season.......now this year as I have switched blogs (again lol) but hey it works beautifully...:o) I will be showcasing my fav 5 from the old blog...hope this is ok Debby. This is extremely difficult chooosing but here goes.......

I do adore Penny Black stamps and was lucky enough to be part of the PBSC earlier this year which was an honour to have worked along side such talented girlies :O)

Everyone knows my huge obsession for Sugar Nellie stamps lol so I had to include my favourite all time Snowman...isn't he just the cutest?

This year seen the start of a new love for me in the adorable Humphrey from Crafter's Companion

Squeal......he is the cutest!  love the colours on this card.

Hmmmm now I'm starting to think that I have an obsessive nature lol Waltzingmouse stamps also became a huge favourite for me this year....Delish!....

and last but certainly not least....Furry Friends by Sugar Nellie.

Penny Black Christmas

 A very good morning........firstly I'd like to thank you for all your lovely comments.
I really am missing my crafting however you do seem to be enjoying looking at my older creations so thank you form the bottom of my heart.

Today I chose to share this cutie by Penny Black

 I have used another Penny Black image  I was sent this image in a RAK so sorry not sure what it's called. *Edited image is from Holly Jolly Transparent set....thanks Paula Coloured using Prismacolor pencils. I wasn't sure what ink it had been stamped with so if in doubt use Prismas is my motto LOL

 I cut out the card using my scalloped nestie a and added a circle which I embossed using snowflakes cuttlebug embossing folder and applied stardust stickles around the edge. Fiskars threading water punch for the border, hand stitching and snowflakes for added detail. the ribbon is Stampin Up and I've added flower soft and glamour dust for snow.

Here is my creation for you for this week

 

 CAS for me this week and a wee Crimbo card....another for the box.

I have used Christmas Critters set and coloured using prisma pencils and polychromos pencils. (Still need to work out my Speccy colours for the PB meeces :) ) 

I embossed the oval using my Cuttlebug and added some score lines done on my Ultimate Pro

 

I have added Polar White FlowerSoft  for snow and a touch of Glamour Dust fr added sparkle
