Sugar Sweet Sugar

 A very good crafternoon peeps yip I've  been creating this morning I coloured one of my new Sugar Nellie stamps the other night in bed and was desperate to make it into a card. Over on facebook the lovely Fiona has started up the weekly Sugar Fix challenge for us Sugar Babes :O) Ohhh I do have a Sweet tooth :O) and the challenge was a colour combo of Blue, Green and White.

Here is my interpretation

 I have used the current SUGAR BOWL sketch and rotated it. 

I stamped Fifi Goes Shopping using Memento Ink and coloured using a mixture of Prisma, Polychromos and Caran D'Ache pencils. I added a cloud background using a scrap piece of card cut into a cloud shape and then stencilled using Bashful Blue ink as i felt the background was rather bare and I'm really pleased with the result! Stampin up papers and card from The Papeterie...

Crafter's Companion SWALK Winter Collection

 Boy I nearly forgot to post today...I have been very busy behind the scenes here with more samples for upcoming launches from 

CRAFTERS COMPANION 

Not long now until the launch of the new SWALK Winter Cheer Collection

Friday at 12 noon on Create and Craft Leann will be showing you fabulous demos so be sure to tune in.

If stock sells out she may even "dance for you" he he he...

 I have used papers from the fabulous SWALK Winter Cheer CD Rom and my image is coloured using SPECTRUM NOIR pens. 

.......stickles around the edge for sparkle frames the image.

I have added Marianne Design Creatables corners I just love these!

I added some pom pom trim from SEW SWEET

I wanted the image to be the focal point of the card so I have left it quite plain.

Humphrey's Corner Christmas Collection

Afternoon peeps well what a time I have had trying to post today grrrrr...blogger again

A Sweet Witch

 A very good morning....todays card is for this week challenge over on the SUGAR NELLIE facebook group.

the fabby Fiona sets a challenge each week this week it's Black. Hmmm black now this was a wee challenge but I decided to  make a Halloween card .....yeah I know a tad early but hey I'll be organised right!!

 

I have cuttlebugged the background using bubbles cuttlebug folder. the black and purple card are by Stampin Up. Witches Cauldron is coloured using my Prismacolor pencils.

 

Isn't this Webbed Ribbon fabulous it is from SEW SWEET

I'm so excited as it's only 1 more sleep until the Sneak Peaks start from 

SUGAR NELLIE

Feeling Festive!

 A very good afternoon......I'm feeling festive today and its only 124 days until Christmas....SQUEAL....
I LOVE Christmas!!
I have been having a little play today and thought I would join in with this weeks

MOJO MONDAY

another fabulous sketch this week.

 

I have used my Marianne Design Creatables Poinsettia Die and RED FELT from SEW SWEET to create the flower. I added sead beads to the centre for effect.

Of course I had to use RED GINGHAM RIBBON again from SEW SWEET. Emma has lots of new stock that has been added to the webshop.

The border punch is Eyelet border by Stampin Up as is the embossing folder. The branch punch is by Martha Stewart.

I am also entering this card into this weeks challenge over on CAS-ual Friday which is embossing

Less is More #27 ~ Colour challenge

 My card for you today is one of my CAS creations made for the fabulous LESS IS MORE I must thank both Chrissie and Mandi for asking me to guest last week it was an honour to be part of such a FABULOUS challenge. Thank you ladies.
This weeks challenge is a colour challenge using your National Flag well being Scottish......... Yup blue and white it had to be.

I wanted to show you that you can also use your cute purchases and utilise them. I must also explain that I have a "thing" for snowflakes they just HAVE to be nice ones. I have used a stamp from Crafter's Companion The Snowman stamp set. I adore Crafter's Companion snowflakes they put on their stamp plates. I have stamped the snowflake using Faded Jeans Distress Ink onto Centura White cardstock. Now you have to let the ink dry properly before you carry on making your card or it will smudge.

 I popped my tree up on dimensionals and added a base and finished by adding some seam binding tied into a bow. the beautiful sentiment is also from the stamp plate.

Crafters Companion SWALK and HUMPHREY Launch Day

 Well today is the day over on CRAFTERS COMPANION you will be able to purchase the new SWALK and HUMPHREY stamps wooooooeeeeee they are all adorable!

I have coloured Slugs and Snails using SPECTRUM NOIR pens he is such a cutie! the papers are from the SWALK CD Rom Volume 1 I have added faux stitching using a WHISPER PEN

 

I stamped the sentiment and then cut it out which I think is a fab effect thats why i love stamps they are so versitile.

 The twine and button are from SEW SWEET

Penny Black Saturday Design Team

 A very good morning thank you to everyone who played along last week with us on

PENNY BLACK SATURDAY CHALLENGE

and to everyone who left me good luck wishes. All your wishes payed off and I won the Janette McLauchlan Trophy which is a yummy big shield :) I was delighted to say the least. I do have a picci however it's on hubbies camera so will share it with you at a later date :).

Sugar Nellie ~ Bubble and Squeak

 Morning peeps.... I thought I would try something different for a change with my Sugar Nellie stamps. Bubble and Squeak by Sugar Nellie was perfect to use for today's creation. A wine bottle label. I have always wanted to try making one of these and just went with the flow and made it up as I went along. I'm delighted with the final result.

I have coloured Bubble and Squeak using promarkers and used brown card from The Papeterie. The design paper is an old retired Stampin Up paper and the corregated card is recycled from a box.

I have tied Amber Brown Seam Binding from Sew Sweet in a double bow and added a fabby delish button also from Sew Sweet.

The theme this month is Birthday Party

I have used my new set from the latest release called EAT CAKE :)
You can't have a party without cake now can you!

I have stamped the border using Sage shadow from Stampin Up and made a background pattern which is just yummy! Matted on sage shadow cardstock and crumb cake. The cake is also stamped using sage shadow and the flowers are stamped using  close to cocoa also from Stampin Up. these inks work a treat with Waltzingmouse stamps everytime.

I added a delish ribbon from SEW SWEET

Less is More #24 ~ Circles

 Another post from me this morning....when I seen this weeks LESS IS MORE challenge was circles I just had to play straight away.

 I have used BUTTONS from SEW SWEET as my circles  for this baby card. I stamped a border using Stampin Up pale plum along the bottom with my Waltzingmouse Gingham and Co background stamp

 

The sentiment was hand doodled.

LESS IS MORE has to be my all time favourite challenge outwith my DT postitions of course :)

Morning peeps a busy weekend ahead for myself always on the go I am :) It's Saurday so that means it's time for another fabby challenge on PENNY BLACK SATURDAY CHALLENGE

Our theme this week is Christmas in July

I love this cutie....Christmas Dreams.......I actually won it on Penny Black Saturday challenge last year so I thought it was perfect to use for this challenge. I have stamped on Crumb Cake card by SU using memento ink and coloured it using  Prismacolour pencils. The BAKERS TWINE and BUTTON are both from SEW SWEET aren't they delish!

 A very good afternoon and the sun is shining here today again it's scorchio. Today I have a sneak peak for you of the fabulous New Popcorn Pals Range from CRAFTER'S COMPANION which will be launched this Friday 8th. I inked around the edges of my papers. This gives added depth to the overall effect. Punched flowers from the paper. The seam binding is from SEW SWEET

The Sugar Bowl #63 ~ Erikas Sketch

 Its time again for another fabby sketch from THE SUGAR BOWL I just can't believe how the weeks fly by!

We have a fab sketch for you by our  lovely ERIKA and Erika has chosen handmade flowers for her theme.

The prize on offer is 4 Sugar Nellie stamps however, this will increase to 6 if we get 100+ entries.

Crafters Companion Adorables

 A very good afternoon the sun has been shining here this morning. I love these new Adorable stamps from Crafters Companion. Living on a small island by the seaside this set really appealed to me. Perfect for seaside creations.

 I stamped the boat and then added the girl over the top using Collall 3D glue . I crimped Crumb Cake card and added Ribbon and twine and a scrummy button from SEW SWEET. The star and shell add to the effect.
I cut out the fishing nets (I can't beleive how many fishing nets I sold at work last week) and popped it behind the button.

I can't believe how lucky I am to live where I do. Mum and Dad moved here when I was 2 and I will always be eternally grateful for that. Can't beat living by the sea, the sounds the smell there is no place like it in the world. I generated the sentiment on the computer and punched out using Stampin Up oval and scalloped oval punches.
