Secret Crafter ~ Mother's Day

A very good morning its nice looking out this morning dry but probably chilly. Today's card is a commissioned card I was asked to make. It fits in perfect with this weeks theme over on Secret Crafter Challenge. Smashing cards from the girls this week well worth popping over for a look and join in.

I haven't been using my Cricut as much as I should so I have challenge myself to use it more. I have cut the letters to spell Mum from Storybook cartridge I think this must be my favourite cartridge not that i have many mind you but this is full of fabulous accents. Papermania papers yes still on the using up stash mood and I'm doing very well too. The flowers are made using Marianne creatables flower dies and are fabulous value for money. The leaves are a woodware punch. The oval has been embossed using my cuttlebug flower fantasy embossing folder and finished off with my favourite butterflies.

Today is clean up and footer day for me as Jack is with his daddy so I don't get him until tomorrow so i like to get as much done on a Monday as I can. Hope you have a smashing day whatever you are doing.

I started this card when mum was here so finally added the finishing touches earlier.
We have had glorious weather again here today scorchio! the water was a calm as anything sparkling in the sun, simply beautiful. I was bowling this afternoon and got burned and I was applying sun cream every 20 mins :O I always think the sun tires you out too. So it’s early to bed for me to colour images I was going to do earlier before I decided to go bowling.

Daisy and Dandelion #8 - Razzle Dazzle

I am ashamed to say this is the first time I have inked up these stamps and I bought them at the SECC in March. So I sent myself to the naughty step with a cuppa tea and then came back and finished my card. Yeah I know men white coats!
Anyways was having a wee play earlier and thought I know Daisy and Dandelion challenge and popped over to see this weeks theme and was astonished to see only 2 yes that’s right 2 people had joined in. Come on guys where are all you Daisy and Dandelion fans there are 97 followers of the blog.
Well this little number is for this weeks challenge which is “Razzle Dazzle” well I don’t know about you but I love bling. I am always covered in glitter of some sort, I tell hubby it’s my sparkling personality  I have stamped Daisy in Bashful Blue from Stampin Up love the effect very subtle and I think works perfect for a baby card. Letters were cut using George and the background was embossed using baby cuttlebug folder and behind Daisy I embossed with the bubbly folder. “Simples”

Here is a wee close up of the bling! Well that’s it for me today. Just before i go. I went to the library last night to get the “Twilight” series by Stephanie Meyer. Heard so much about it lately thought I would jump on board and see what you were all on about being a huge Vampire film fan I can’t wait to read them. Being a small island our library is very small so I had to request them so thought what the heck and requested them all :D Should get them Tuesday as the library is closed on a Monday. Can’t wait :D
Well that’s enough of my babbering for one night.

Thanks for stopping by,
