A very good morning peeps I'm so excited today as its the launch of Sheena Douglas brand new shiny Paint Fusion CD Rom on Create and Craft at 12 noon......don't forget to tune in and see what other delish new products Sheena is bringing you....I must admit Sheena is my idol and it was a huge honour to have been able to make a few samples for her.....squeal!!!!!!.....

The paper is from the Paint Fusion CD Rom and i have distressed the edges with my scissors. I embossed the paper with Butterfly Swirls Darice embossing folder you can just make that out in the picci.... I stamped Silhouette Wildflowers by Sheena Douglas from the A Little bit sketchy range using versafine black ink and then shadow stamped again. to achieve this technique after you have stamped your image move it slightly and then stamp again no nedd to reink the stamp this is how it forms a shadow as their is less ink to transfer its a super effect.

I love the fact that all Sheenas products can be used in conjunction with each other.......

I have another sneak peek to show you from the fabulous Paint Fusion CD Rom from SHEENA DOUGLAS launching on Friday 10th on Create and Craft at 12 noon.....

Now this card is a tad different from my normal style however I wanted to show you that you can use all Sheena products with each other. The pansies are from the new Paint fusion CD ROM its a decoupage element again....i added it to the bottom as I wanted it to look like a window effect. I stamped Peaceful Lakeside on to the back of Centura Pearl Snow White card and water coloured the image using Twinkling H2Os

After I had sent my samples off to Sheena I was editting my picture and think that the boats would look better if i had decoupaged them to make them pop....but I am extremely delighted with the results on this card....as I said before not my usual style and it was fun to play :O)

I have some fab news to share tomorrow...but all will be revealed in the morning...squeal!!

Sheena Douglas ~ Poppies

Afternoon peeps...I hope you are enjoying the festive season as much as I am. Having all my family around me is just amazing. My son is home and we are spending quality time as a family! Lots of laughs and fun....can't beat it!
Todays card is a new creation using the uber talented Sheena Douglas stamp set POPPIES AND DAISIES

I have coloured the Poppies using my Spectrum noir pens. I stamp the image using memento ink which is perfect for using with Speccies. I then placed my image inside the frame of the Cuttlebug folder Graces Frame and run it through the cuttlebug.

The red card is Brights Core'dinations and the border punch is by Fiskars.
I love this card even if I do say so myself and I do think the ribbon just finishes it off.

Crafter's Companion Craftaganza Make

One of the fabulous workshops at Craftaganza was using the new LUMINARTE products from Crafters Companion. We were given a Wine Box by the lovely Louisa to work our magic on! Well I took one look at this and thought EEEEKKK.....  you know me I'm a Clean and Simple kinda gal so the thought of Grunging and getting messy shocked my hair blonde!!

I started by painting my entire Wine box using Persimmon Radiant Rain Shimmering mist by Luminarte. the mica and pigment in these sprays are fantastic and really do give an amazing sparkle. Perfect for spraying your flowers. I dried the box using the fabulous new Sheena Douglass heat tool. Once it was completely dry I started stamping using Sheena Douglass fab Silhouette Wildflowers stamps   using Stazon ink and then dried again using the Heat Tool

TopTip* ~  I put my hand inside the box when stamping and pushed the box up onto the stamp as the Paper Mache slightly flexible and pressed the stamp at the same time.

I added Versamark around the bottom of the Wine box and applied WOW Brass Embossing powder.
The butterflies were also stamped in versamark and the embossed using the amazing WOW embossing powders

My stencil Bon Soir 3 was sprayed with some Stick and Spray and then applied to the top of the lid. I then applied Radiant Rain Colour concentrate in Bronze using a dry brush and a stippling effect until i was happy with the result and colour. and again applied the Versamark and Wow powders around the edge. A piece of  Black Organza ribbon around the edge and then tied in a bow at the front to finish!
and there we have it........I have to admit i love this creation.

I'm entering this creation into the following challenges ~

Totally Gorjuss ~  Sparkle
Oh La La Creations ~ Lots of Sparkle

Less is More #19 ~ In The Frame

Hello peeps it seems an age since I have written a blog post well actually its over a week lol. Thank you to everyone who left holiday wishes and comments for me it was very kind and very much appreciated. We had an amazing holiday with the family and extended family Cathy and her lovely hubby Dave "The Bus Man" Wallington whom we met up with on the Tuesday in Blackpool.

This weeks LESS IS MORE theme in One Layer is In the Frame.....I missed last weeks as I was on holiday and I'm gutted as I have played along every week since the beginning.

I have used my Sheena Douglas stamp set from Crafter's Companion and stamped it in an embossed frame using my nesties. I added a Trelles effect using my Ultimate Pro at the side which finishes the card perfectly I think.

I coloured the images using my whispers pens and using the fine end added some grass strands for effect. a touch of stickles on the centre of the daises and voila! Please take the time to visit Chrissie and Mandi and leave them a comment they put so much work into this challenge its wonderful. thanks again ladies for another wonderful challenge.

Thanks for stopping by
