People were on top of their cars! Forecast is for more rain later in the week and the winds have also to pick up to so take care peeps and stay warm!

Crafter's Companion Craftaganza Make

One of the fabulous workshops at Craftaganza was using the new LUMINARTE products from Crafters Companion. We were given a Wine Box by the lovely Louisa to work our magic on! Well I took one look at this and thought EEEEKKK.....  you know me I'm a Clean and Simple kinda gal so the thought of Grunging and getting messy shocked my hair blonde!!

I started by painting my entire Wine box using Persimmon Radiant Rain Shimmering mist by Luminarte. the mica and pigment in these sprays are fantastic and really do give an amazing sparkle. Perfect for spraying your flowers. I dried the box using the fabulous new Sheena Douglass heat tool. Once it was completely dry I started stamping using Sheena Douglass fab Silhouette Wildflowers stamps   using Stazon ink and then dried again using the Heat Tool

TopTip*I put my hand inside the box when stamping and pushed the box up onto the stamp as the Paper Mache slightly flexible and pressed the stamp at the same time.

I added Versamark around the bottom of the Wine box and applied WOW Brass Embossing powder.
The butterflies were also stamped in versamark and the embossed using the amazing WOW embossing powders

My stencil Bon Soir 3 was sprayed with some Stick and Spray and then applied to the top of the lid. I then applied Radiant Rain Colour concentrate in Bronze using a dry brush and a stippling effect until i was happy with the result and colour. and again applied the Versamark and Wow powders around the edge. A piece of  Black Organza ribbon around the edge and then tied in a bow at the front to finish!
and there we have it........I have to admit i love this creation.

I'm entering this creation into the following challenges ~

Totally Gorjuss ~  Sparkle
Oh La La Creations ~ Lots of Sparkle
Creative Craft challenge ~ Free For All
Crafty Cardmakers ~ Heat Embossing

I've been practising my colouring with distress inks and I'm delighted with the effects this time.
I do have a limited number of colours just now but I've also been using my Stampin Up inkpads and I'm loving the results.

The papers I've used are Cosmo Cricket and swiss dots embossing folder. Basic Grey buttons finished with SU thread. the large paperclip is from my stash. I attacked the edges of the card and papers with my scissors for a distressed look which I actually like. So there we have it.
