Here is my interpretation of the sketch
I have used a Darice embossing folder from Crafters Companion and added a wide ribbon as my band on the sketch. this is recycled ribbon from Christmas...I never throw anything away lol.
I added a few gems for the bodies of the butterflies :O) The sentiment is by Stampin Up from Vintage Labels set.
I have to admit this really is my favourite style of cardmaking.......I'm a CAS kinda girl :O)

Now that little owl you have acquired has lots of energy & keeps blinking at me!! I like your different take on the sketch with the ribbon being that vertical strip. The butterflies' bodies are super the way they pick up the dotted crescent shapes too.
