The Last Post............

 .....of 2011.

Happy Hogmanay as we say here in Scotland

Looking back over this year it did have a few trials to be honest with family health issues however all turned out good in the end.
Creativity wise blog problems were the bain of my life to be honest.......I love sharing my creativity through my blog, thankfully now is all ok and the new blog is tickety boo and working perfeek!

I started the I'm a Crafters Companion Facebook group earlier in the year and can't believe we have over 700 members now. With the blessing of CC it has blossomed into a fabulous group where we have a good laugh and share our creativity.

Another continuing addiction this year was my love for Sugar Nellie :O) I have also met the most fabulous girlies and Karen through my Sweet addiction! I was extremely lucky to part of the Sugar Nellie Design Team even if it was a short sit! Although one person did feel the need to email me and tell me that they were shocked that I was added to the team by Karen!...... shame they didn't have the nerve to leave me their name in the email.....this really did knock my confidence! I did let it get to me.... however I'm well and truly over that and will never let anyone unnerve me again. My style is not always everyones cup of tea but it is "MY" style and you know what I LOVE it!
I am a huge believer in things happen for a reason......as one door closes another opens......

I was stunned when invited onto the Crafter's Companion Design Team by the lovely Sara Davis.......I have met the most wonderful people since joining the CC team....and I look forward to the coming year ahead which I know is going to be very exciting for myself :O).....squeal! I also had the pleasure of meeting the lovely Sarah from Beaders Companion and she has turned me into a Little Beader and you will be seeing more beading creations from me too in the coming year :O)

Before I go I will leave you with my last post of 2011 sharing a calm card I made using the Reddy Decoupage available form Crafters Companion.

this decoupage can be used for so many different occasions.

The lines have been scored on my Ultimate Pro and the border punch is by Stampin Up

Whatever your plans for this evening........enjoy

Sugar Nellie ~ Simply Adorable

 Morning peeps.......
I have chosen to share Sugar Nellie JOY digi stamp available from Funky Kits
 with you today.

I have coloured JOY using Prisma colour pencils. these images are fantastic to colour as all the shading is in the right place for you already done by the artist. I think the name chosen for them is perfect because they are Simply Adorable
I have embossed around the image using a cuttlebug embossing folder called Grace Frame. The gingham paper is from S.W.A.L.K CD Rom 1.  The ribbon was bought in a wee sewing and craft shop in Cheltenham across the street from the model railway shop Cheltenham Model Centre for anyone who lives in that area *wink (you know who you are)  they have some lush ribbons etc

Now I wasn't sure if it was an apple or a ball that Joy was holding so today it is a ball another day she will be holding an apple lol.
Well thats it for me today I'll be back tomorrow with another older creation or you.
