Sundays For Santa....more Penny Black

Yeah Sunday....which means Sunday for Santas with the girlies over on Facebook. We are a fab wee group of friends who enjoy each others company and can have a great laugh along side our love of all things crafty. Crafters are the nicest people ever. I am blessed to have met/not quite met/and will meet the most wonderful peeps through the internet that I call "friends" I don't need to name you "ALL" know who you are :D and they are as mad as hatters the lot of them....he he will you be brave enough to say it's you ha ha.
Anyway the lovely Fiona chose the theme for this week....."Family Christmas"

Well at first i struggled with this one I must admit.....but it came good in the end. the background is made using my fabby new stamps from Waltzingmouse Stamps. The set is called Pic Nic Patterns and you can make gingham backgrounds wooohoooooo. I lurvs them. I love gingham especially red. My pinny and peg holder are red gingham that I made myself a few years ago....stop laughing yes i wear a pinny...my Mum loves it and is always wearing it when she comes to stay....anyway  the card........ Real red ink another yummy product for Stampin Up....and the eyelet border punch also from Stampin up.

The images is stamped in memento and coloured using prismacolor pencils. i have added my usual flowersoft and glamour dust for snow and glamour dust for the fur and pom pom on their hats. Snowflake embossing folder from cuttlebug for the semicircle background....and Cuttlebug snowflakes to finish off.

Lots to do today...Ebay packing and I will be adding more stash later for sale so that all needs photographed and its great light today so going to grab the chance and get that out the way and another job ticked off the enormous list i have.....
Whatever you are doing today......enjoy! Ali x

Gorgeous card Ali. I love that image. Background looks great, didn't realise it was a stamp at first. Looks like it would be really useful.

Oh that stamp has so much potential Alison. You have stamped it all beautifully and your grasp of the CAS style is second to none. Love it.

Wish I could do it.... LOL

Well that is some backgound - I thought it was cloth until I read your post.
These look like they're having great fun & again I do love the pencil colouring & that semi-circle is thoroughly effective too. They do look a happy little family.
