Sugar Nellie Joy ~ Clean and Simple

My lovely blogging buddy well actually fabby friend CATHY and I have this wee challenge going between us regarding CAS cards. As you know I blog my CAS cards quite often and CATHY being a chicken licken lol doesn't. Well i can tell you Cathies CAS cards are stunning and I want to encourage her to blog them more. Here is Cathy's CAS Card

I picked the first theme "One For the Girls"  nice and east to start with eh I'm a tad nervous now as its Cathy's turn to choose lol.

I have chosen to use Sugar Nellie JOY digi stamp available from Funky Kits

I have coloured JOY using Prisma colour pencils. these images are fantastic to colour as all the shading is in the right place for you already done by the artist. I think the name chosen for them is perfect because they are Simply Adorable
I have embossed around the image using a cuttlebug embossing folder called Grace Frame. The gingham paper is from S.W.A.L.K CD rom 1 thanks Elaine. The ribbon was bought in a wee sewing and craft shop in Cheltenham across the street from the model railway shop Cheltenham Model Centre for anyone who lives in that area *wink (you know who you are)  they have some lush ribbons etc

Now I wasn't sure if it was an apple or a ball that Joy was holding so today it is a ball another day she will be holding an apple lol.

I'm entering this into the following challenges ~
The Cuttlebug Spot ~ Inspired by a song....my song is Sweet Child O' Mine by Gun n Roses
One Stop Craft challenge ~ A Card for a Child

Well thats it for me today I'll be back tomorrow with my Sugar Bowl creation and I'm meeting my lovely friend Linda for a well overdue coffee and catch up.

Whatever you are doing today......enjoy! Ali x

LOL I've just been working with these images too Alison - I think they are going to be very, very popular and I agree that they are easy to colour. I didn't think so when I first saw them but they are a delight to work with.
This card is totally gorgeous - love the embossed background and the whole card is simply beautiful.
