The Tailor of Gloucester Museum and Shop

 On my recent visit to Gloucester to see my son I went to my favourite shop in Gloucester which just happens to be The Tailor of Gloucester Beatrix Potter Museum and Shop

I have been before and i loved it....it was sadly closed for 18 months however thanks to fabulous gentlemen of the town who fought to keep it opened and also the support from the Beatrix Potter Society

This is one of the room  where the Tailor would work away by the fire :O)

Inside is full of Beatrix Potter delicousness!! I was still squealling even though i have been before lol

If you are ever in the area it is well worth a visit and is free

This was stunning!! apologies for the picture it is all behind glass and i have some reflections

When i saw this Tea~ Set i instantly thought of LEANN isn't it a beauty?

I always buy something to support the shop as it has only one paid worker and all the rest of the ladies are volunteers they are so nice! so here was my purchase this time :O)

NEC Visit

 A very good afternoon and what a scorcher it is again today...it has taken me ages to get on to blogger again today I will fill you in about  later in another post. Firstly thank you to everyone who has left me comments since i have been away we arrived home safely last night exhausted to say the least. We had a wonderful trip visiting our son and the weather was amazing too...the batteries are now recharged and I'm raring to go........

This is my wonderful hubby and I at NEC this is the very special man who made it all happen for me...he is my world thank you my gorgeous man......I have to say thank you to Cathy for taking this picci of us...i love it....

Thursday saw me pop in to the NEC papercrafts show to catch up with some of my favourite people.......CATHY, JACQUI, KATH, LORRAINE, CRAFTERS COMPANION GANG including LOUISE and MARGARET, MARIANNE, LYNSEY and LISA who are all fellow Design Team members......loved our catch up just wish that it had been longer.

I also met up with SUSAN and the lovely SHIRLEY which was just a brief encounter but lovely just the same and a huge thank you to SUSAN for my beautiful gift i will post that separately.

So you will be wanting to see my stash then?

Popcorn The Bear

 Happy Sunday......I hope you are having a fabulous weekend I am sadly leaving Gloucester today and heading home to see the rest of my babies :O) Today I have a Popcorn card to share with you that I made for Saras recent trip to Germany when Popcorn was launching  for the  first time on CD ROM over on the continent! Wow how amazing....to be part of that history now :O)

I have stamped Popcorn using memento ink and coloured using my Spectrum Noir pens .....can you see I have been practising using my fabulous Spectrum Noir CD ROM by Leann Chivers...I {heart} this woman :O) Now although this Popcorn is in German the english version can be found HERE

I have used papers from the Popcorn CD ROM and added a Centura Pearl snow white card embossed using my fabulous Doily Lace Darice embossing folder

He is just such a cutie....squeal!!

Beading ~ Bracelet and Earrings

Happy Friday peeps...today i have something different for you. i made some Jewellery fro my Mother in Law for Mothers Day and thought that you might like to see it. Ever since the lovely Sarah Millsops Beading class at Craftaganza last year I have been hooked!

 I started with the Earrings the picture really shows the beads off to their glory!

I was so pleased with how these turned out i decided to make a bracelet to match

 I laid out my beads first in the pattern that i wanted and then started to thread them through the stretch cord which I cut at 7 inches.

So there we have it a fab set which my mother in Law loved and now my daughter wants a set like this also for a wedding she is going to later in the year!

Crafters Companion ~ The Taylor of Gloucester

 Happy Thursday peeps today i want to share with you "The Taylor of Gloucester" now I have deliberately kept this post for today as I am heading to Gloucester later today after my visit to the NEC to see everyone.....squeal! Canny Wait! 

My son lives in Gloucester and we are popping down for a visit.

I have used papers from the Beatrix Potter Female paper pad and a fabulous Female decoupage

I cut out a Nellie's choice circle in Centura Pearl snow white card and adhered the decoupage on top

I have added faux stitching around the the squares for a quilted look using whisper pen.

Lets hope Mr Blogger is behaving and you get to see todays scheduled post.

Crafters Companion ~ The Tale of Jemima Puddle-duck

A very good morning and today I am heading off to Birmingham for my visit to the NEC that my fabulous hubby surprised me with earlier in the week. I'm so excited to be getting to see allot of my lovely friends that I have met through Crafter's Companion and my fabby friend Cathy....squeal!!!Before I leave I want to share this little cutie with you....Jemima Puddle-duck from the new Papercrafting Elements range of Beatrix Potter brought to you by Crafters Companion.

I have used gingham paper from the Female Paper pad Have I ever told you of my gingham obsession lol and I have embossed some Core'dinations card using one of the fabulous Darice small borders embossing folders.........look at that delish ribbon this is also from the new Papercrafting Elements range

This die cut female decoupage is fabulous and pops out a dream! Love the stuff

Well better get a shifty on i have still have a few things to do and a trip to the post office too.

Crafters Companion ~ Beatrix Potter Launch Day

Another post from me today......tonight at 9 o'clock on Ideal World Sara will be launching 3 new Characters from the Beatrix Potter range brought to you by CRAFTERS COMPANION...The three new characters that are being launched are Jeremy Fisher, Benjamin Bunny and Timmy Tiptoes.

I have used Darice 5" X 7" Woodgrain embossing folder and Core'dinations card and then added Timmy Tiptoes decoupage for the CD ROM onto the top of it........

I added papers on the  next page from the CD ROM and added a pocket made from Centura Pearl snow white card at the bottom....I punched a fancy edge and scored some lines on my Ultimate Pro

Crafters Companion ~ The Tale of Two Bad Mice

 A very good morning to one and all today is launch day.....squeal....first today I want to share The Tale of Two Bad Mice with you which is another page of my book ....by now you will have worked out that the Book is every Beatrix Potter character to date that CRAFTERS COMPANION have launched *smiles

 I absolutely love the papers that are on this CD ROM they are totally delish!

I love this paper :O) I have added some faux stitching around the outer edge using a whispers pen....Core'dinations card again scored using my Ultimate Pro...this is one of the frames from the CD and it is decoupaged

this is an insert and a fabulous verse from the verse writer i love this function on CRAFTER COMPANION CDs as you can add any verse or text that you like. Core'dinations card made into a loop and a brad added again faux stitches added around the edge.....

Beatrix Potter ~ Jemima Puddle-duck

 Happy Monday. everyone and I hope you are all well this morning.....I have more BEATRIX POTTER by CRAFTERS COMPANION to share with you today.....this time The Tale Jemima Puddle-duck...she really is fabulous.....I would say a quacker :O) (sorry couldn't resist)

 All elements used are from The Tale of Jemima Puddle-duck CD ROM.

Isn't she fabulous!! the papers on these BP CD ROM are beautiful as you can see by the one i have used on these pages. I have decoupaged my image and the sentiment is also from the CD i just love that everything co-ordinates.

I thought that it would add interest to the book with some different features that I had in the Paintbox Poppets Book so when I saw the waterfall toppers I thought ahhaa that will do nicely. *Sigh isn't that Core'dinations card just delish?? I scored the lines using my best friend the Ultimate Pro 

 Don't forget that the three new characters  Jeremy Fisher, Benjamin Bunny and Timmy Tiptoes will be launching tomorrow Tuesday 20th March as Pick of the Day on Ideal World.

Beatrix Potter Book ~ Mrs Tiggy-winkle

 A very good evening .....I have the most fabulous day...church this morning and then I was taken out for lunch by my wonderful family.....Andys mum, dad, aunt and uncle joined us also....we are a close family and living on the island we see each other most days.....we have such a great laugh...we are all nuts he he he he anyway more BEATRIX POTTER Book for you today by CRAFTERS COMPANION

I just adore Mrs Tiggy winkle a woman or hedgehog after my own heart yes peeps you will here it here first I LOVE housework....I'm at my best when I'm cleaning LOL....I love nothing more than seeing the washing blowing on the line :O) sad i know but hey thats me.

I have used papers from the Mrs Tiggy-Winkle CD ROM and also the letter from the alphabet section on the CD. The circle with image is from the BEATRIX POTTER PAPER PAD

 The 3 images are also from the PAPER PAD...I have added some BEATRIX POTTER GEMS and scored the lines using my ULTIMATE PRO

Beatrix Potter Papercrafting Elements

Crafters Companion Beatrix Potter

 A very good morning and i have another couple of pages of my Beatrix Potter Book to share with you again today brought to you by CRAFTERS COMPANION

Peter Rabbit

I think Peter Rabbit it perfect for all occasions and all ages very versitile. I have used elements from "The Tale of Peter Rabbit" CD Rom again the gingham border is fabulous on the CD squealll!!

and the papers are just LUSH as always beautifully put together by CRAFTERS COMPANION. I have used an insert for this part of the book and added one of the many verses from the CD. I added a EPIPHANY button using a small picture of Peter Rabbit....cute or what :O) the GEMS are again Beatrix Potter Papercrafting Elements

 This is a framed decoupage and you can just see that I have added Pearl Pen to the small cicles to look like tiny pearls.

Paintbox Poppets Decoupage

 A very good morning I hope you are well this morning....Firstly can I say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has commented, for your emails and FB messages with your kind words regarding my cards you have had me in tears and I thank you from the bottom of my heart!...Today I have another Paintbox Poppets to share with you I do have more but i will save them for a later date so today will be the last one for you just now (unless you want to see more then just say if you leave a comment) :O) I really do think CRAFTERS COMPANION have excelled themselves this time with bringing us Paintbox Poppets. the CD ROM is jammed packed full of gorgeousness and i love the co-ordinating PAINTBOX POPPETS DECOUPAGE.......as i said yesterday this really is a new favourite for me...anyhoo what do you think of this cutie?

 I have scored the card uisng my ULTIMATE PRO and embossed one of the new DARICE BORDER EMBOSSING FOLDERS down the side also....again I have used CENTURA PEARL SNOW WHITE CARD

By now you will know I have a slight gingham addiction LOL and if I can squeeze some gingham on a sample i will *big cheesy grin

Paintbox Poppets

 A very good morning........just a quick post from me this morning as I'm off to work in a bit. I thought I would share another Paintbox Poppets with you today brought to you by CRAFTERS COMPANION. If you have been watching the Pick of the Week shows then you will know this it flew out and more stock and to be brought in and its now looking like that will sell out too....so i can faithfully say you are all loving these Paintbox Poppets.....I LOVE them i have yo admit...they are my new CRAFTERS COMPANION favourites....shhhhhhhh don't tell Humphrey! He he he

These images are just beautuful aren't they.........I have used Reddy Decoupage on this card it really is fabulous decoupage and just pops out love it! I have embossed cuttlebug Graces Frame embossing folder and cut out the middle to make a proper frame.

I have used CENTURA PEARL SNOW WHITE card again and punch a border either side and scored lines using my ULTIMATE PRO then adhered my decoupaged frame...I added the ribbon before i adhered it down.....I use COLLALL ALL PURPOSE GLUE  for my creating now instead of DSST and it really makes a diference...love the stuff :O)

I will definately be getting more of this decoupage....I just think that this image would be perfect for a Mothers Day card.......
