Kraft ~ ing Around

 A very good afternoon......
I have been playing again today...this time on Kraft..(Crumb Cake Stampin up)

Loving this effect....

I stamped Silent Night using memento onto Crumb Cake and then coloured using
Caran D'Ache Supracolor pencils (Forgot just how fabulous these pencils are)
After i cuttlebugged the Crumb cake I rubbed Cream Versamark over the raised embossing lightly.
the Spellbinders Floral Oval looks fab cut in Kraft....this is mt favourite die...EVER!
And it wouldn't be me without a touch of red gingham ribbon.

By colouring is small strokes in a certain direction....look at the roof ....I started with downward strokes
then from the bottom went over with upward strokes...this gives dimension it really looks like the roof is popping out doesn't it? I think pencilwork is definitely my forte! you will be seeing more soon!

I'm entering this into ~

Craft Ribbons ~ Christmas
ABC Christmas ~ U is for "Up to You"

My Nana bless her was an incredible lady, she taught me to knit when i was 4 and crochet when I was 8 and I had the mumps.
I have dabbled in many a crafty things including kitting, crocheting Tapetry and Cross Stitching ....I seem to have gone full circle and I have taken up my knitting again.....now here is the question....
do you want me to share them on here with you...or would you rather i had a separate blog as I may well be doing tutorials etc....would you rather this blog stayed papercrafting or shall i just share everything on here with you?

Right I'm off to catch up...lots to do

Thanks for stopping by....much appreciated!

very pretty! lovely card Ali! I have all the prisma pencils and Bruynzeel but don't really use them anymore. I ordered from an Art Store and ordered some of the other brands... I did try one of the Supracolors... can't decide between it and the polychromos.... then I got one of the Luminart I think it is... so.. .still coloring with copics and DI! lol

This is really beautiful. I don't use kraft (or prisma pencils) half enough but I might have to get out of my comfort zone now...

I love the peaceful scene you've created on kraft paper. The oval die looks fantastic, I understand why this is your favorite die! The embossed patterns are lovely too, and your gingham ribbon adds just the little touch of color that's needed. I think you made a gorgeous card, I spotted it on MIM.

Gorgeous card Ali, love that image. Loving your pencil work on it too. Love that oval nestie. I'm so looking forward to the SECC on Saturday. A wee while ago my list was double sided and maybe some nesties but it's getting longer now!

I'm like you, I've done all those crafts as well. Just talking to my friend yesterday and telling her all the things we made at Primary school. I remember the sewing apron and the lap bag and of course the cookery apron which was for Secondary school use. I think they were all hand sewn too lol! I'm in the rural so I still knit etc when I've got time. I'd love to see you sharing all your other crafts on this blog too.

WOW!!! I adore this card. The design and colours are stunning. I have never thought about using Kraft for Christmas cards before will definitely be giving it a go. That seems to be a lighter colour Kraft card, it looks so nice, I wonder if it is only available from Stampin Up.
I look forwrd to seeing your other craft items too.

This is stunning Mrs W!
I love kraft (yes I use SU too) and I use it frequently...I have that stamp (maybe used once) and I have the spellbinder dies (still in it's unopened packet) I think I need to come and stay with you for a month or so and maybe some of your CAS talent will rub off on me!

Big hugs
