Afternoon peeps well I seem to be meeting myself coming back for the last couple of weeks LOL. Yesterday was start of Christian Aid week to so another busy week. the weekend just vanished...Hubby and I were playing in a bowls competition ans we couldn't believe we got the final! However it wasn't to be on the day and were runners-up which there is no shame in as we beat very experienced bowlers and this only being our second years we are very proud of ourselves indeed.
Anyway this week challenge over on
LESS IS MORE is One Layer Embossing......thanks again to
Chrissie and
Mandi for another fabulous challenge and fabby inspiration.
I'm loving these
SWALK stamps at the moment I do love
Crafters Companion and I haven't had time to ink them up so I'm making a point of getting them inked....I have used
A Little Note for my card.
I decided to use Crumb Cake (Kraft) as my base card. I have admired this effect for a while now so thought I would give it a try and I must admit I LOVE it!
A Little Note is coloured using prismacolor pencils. I have embossed the bottom of the card using Swiss dots. I have also experimented with my ribbon to after seeing this technique used and demonstrated by the SU girls at the SECC. Thanks Emma. A basic grey button and SU thread to finished the button off so it isn't naked as
Kath puts it LOL
I'm entering this card into the following challenges ~
Dream Valley Challenges ~ "Dig out the Old to go with the New" (Old embossing folder, New Stamp)
Stamp Something ~ Anything Goes
Thanks for stopping by today

Beautiful coloring and love her expressive eyes. Great art!
Love those bright blue eyes & the colours of this card - I'll have to get some of these neutral SU supplies. The ruffled ribbon adds beautiful texture & you really wouldn't think of this as CAS but it certainly is. Love her little white shoes.
