Sugar Nellie DT ~ Simply Sassy Sneak Peak

Morning all the sun is shining, my daughters washing is on andf Jack is watching Fireman Sam coming form a family of retained firefighters we had a feeling he would have the genes lol. we are also introducing the potty, he is currently walking around with it on his head lol.
Today I'm sharing with you a sneak peak of one of the new Simply Sassy  stamps soon to be released from Sugar Nellie

Introducing...."Bad Hare Day" isn't she just a darling. This image is so versitile and could be used for so many different occasions including Easter as she has a cutie little bunny with her. Look how much she loves her bunny. White on white again and a skinny card too for a wee change. sometimes its good to step away from the noormal size card. Everyone seems to use square cards as this is easy to balance when designing however try a different size you make just surprise yourself. Martha Stewart doily border punch and embossed with a cuttlebug folder. I have curled down the coorner and fixed it down using a brad. The sentiment and oval punches are from Stamping Up.

I have coloured this cutie using Aqua Markers and Twinkling H2Os. I bought Deco Peach and Rose Blush from my local craft shop for colouring skin tones and they work perfectly. I used Red Flame on her dress headband and shoes and darkerned it using Poppy Red H2O. Her hair was coloured using a mixture of Gold Ochre and Sepia aqua markers and Cinnamin Brown H2O.

Remember to keep an eye out for more Sneak Peaks from the Sugar Nellie DT and The Simply Sassy DT post regularly on the Simmply Sassy Blog.

I like the stylish photography. I need some of those lessons! Superb colour mixing with the AquaMarkers & H2Os - & you're so right about comfort zones, Love the turned down corner & the shading on her shoes. The soft blue of her eyes works so well with the chestnut of her hair.
Hope it wasn't too stressful with the potty hat!
