More Marianne Design Creatables

My I'm late today with my posting however when you see my pictures you will see why. I've been playing with my new Marianne Design Creatables again. Today's card is also for this weeks

Penny Black Saturday challenge
which the theme is "All My Favoute Things"

well at the moment I have 2 Penny Black stamps and Marianne Design Creatables. So i decided to combine them. I'll warn you now there are lots of piccis in this post. Apoloogises for the different backgrounds in the piccis the light was disappearing as i was taking the piccis so had to change to white to brighten them up a bit.

This is my first attempt at a Criss Cross card .I have used my new poinsetia die to make the flower and have stenciled chalk ink on to it while it was still in to die.

I used my Marianne Design Creatables corner die to make a border. I did however trim some of the corner off. This just shows you how versitile these dies can be, however I didn't through away the off cuts I've kept them to use on something else. These dies are fabulous in my opinion and they cut and emboss like a dream.

Would you be interested in me doing some tutorials for you with these dies??
Let me know on the blog here or send me an email.

Here is the inside of the Criss Cross card

I have embossed the frame die onto a piece of card note i did not cut this out i used my tan mat and embossed it only. I used 2 corner pieces to hold the inside insert in place. The image is from Jolly follies clear stamp set (lov these) and coloured using distress inks and Stampin Up inkpads. The swirls are also Marianne Design Creatables and I have covered them in glamour dust.

Well thats it from me today. I have loads of ideas whirring about in my head with these fab MDC dies so I'm off to play. I was asked today to do 2 Christmas Fayres in December so I may be missing in action from commenting in blogland. On the positive side I will have loads to show you. I love a challenge and this I can assure you will be. I will need lots of stock. See you tomorrow.

Have a fabulous evening whatever you are doing.

Thanks for stopping by!
Stampin hugs
