W is For ....................

W is for Wallet Card

Thank you to everyone for playing along with us last week is was great seeing all your Violet creations. Wallet cards are the theme for W. I have made this little number using two 7 x 5 blank cards. I was intending doing a little tutorial for you however didn't manage it due to the buidling of units etc for my craft area which will be finish later woooohooo. I have been taking piccis for you so you will see it later *wink* For my wallet I have used the ever so cute Pringle from the Soft Centre home grown range from Sugar nellie I have coloured him using prismacolor pencils.
I opened up my blank card and marked 5 inches down then cut from the mark to the bottom on the crease of the card on both blank cards. Then score and fold the left hand side up on one blank card and the score and fold the right hand side of the other card. Trim the middle section off on both cards. You will now be left with 2 5 inch square cards when folded. By sticking on card on top of the other this then will give you a little booklet that you can decorate. If you are planning on using ribbon now would be the time to stick it on before you attach both cards together. then just decorate your wallet as you wish. I have used scrummy Laura Ashley papers thought it was time to stop stroking them and use some up, just love LA. Have fun making your Wallets and i look forward to visiting you to see your creations this week. Please drop by my fellow design team buddies to see there wonderful wallets too.

This is the inside of the wallet and the right hand side opens up again so you have two pockets for putting images or gift cards in. Well I hope you like. I'm off to start emptying my craft cupboard and start organising my new craft area later. Have a lovely day, see you soon. Toodles.

  • Stamp - Pringle available from Funkykits
  • DP - Laura Ashley
  • Punch - Dovecraft corner
  • Flowers and ribbon from Poppicrafts

Stunning Alison - love those papers - think I have them somewhere in my stash!! Great image and fab colouring, and thanks for the tutorial - I usually score from a large piece of card and it takes ages!
Have a great day.
