For the Love o' Burns

Tonight is Burns night in Scotland and I would just like to wish a Happy Burns Night to my fellow Scottish blogging buddies, ye ken who you are! Have a good one guys. Unfortunately there will be no Haggis here tonight as I'm the only one that loves it, but there will be a few drams.

"A Toast to you my Friends"

Have a wonderful night whatever you are doing.

"Selkirk Grace"

Some hae meat and canna eat,
And some wad eat that want it;
But we hae meat, and we can eat,
Sae let the Lord be thankit.

Enjoy your Haggis, Tatties and Neeps!

Hope you had a great Burns night Ali. We all love haggis here....but didn't get to enjoy any because I almost sliced the top of my finger off while slicing the white pudding and it was mad panic to stem the flow, lol.

STILL haven't got it to close yet! I don't do hospitals though so hubby is gonna have to go find a chemist with paper stiches today, lol.

Brilliant Alison,

I have the Eddi Reader CD of Burns Songs and it is one of my favourite CDs. My favourite has to be My Love is like a Red, Red Rose. We are off to visit the grandchildren in Aberdeen this afternoon, so I will put it on in the car.

First, your card commissions are just adorable and equally elegant too! Your ATC's are so cute! I have to also say I loved how you talked about Burns. I had no idea who or what it was about and now I have another wonderful piece of history about Scotland. I hope you had a wonderful Burns night!!
