Less is More ~ Scraps

 A very good crafternoon to one and all....Firstly a huge thank you to everyone who left me get well wishes yesterday it was very thoughtful of you. I'm happy to report i am feeling much better today and raring to go.

This weeks themes over on LESS IS MORE  is scraps well this was easy peasy lemon squeezy as i have loads of scraps kicking about lol possibly too many!

 I love this K and Co paper so decided to use that up instead of it being wasted. Very simply matted ....I embossed the card base using Stitches embossing folder and added a Cuttlebug butterfly to finish.

A very simple and quick card...hope you like! Please don't forget to drop by Chrissie and Mandi blogs and leave them some love too.

New Beatrix Potter from Crafters Companion

 A very good afternoon its miserable here today on the island and I'm a bit poorly so just having a relaxing day. i spent most of yesterday in bed so sorry no creations  to share....I do have some HOT OFF THE PRESS NEWS from CRAFTERS COMPANION...wwwoooooeeeeee wait to you see these beauties

Forever Friends

 Another post from me today.....and an update on my Slimming World Journey......I lost 1 lb today gaining my half stone award....woooohoooooo......i am delighted to say the least! Everyone has been so encouraging anf thanks to you all its keeps me going,

I adore Forever Friends and when I was asked to make 2 baby cards one was for the grandparents so i got out my fabulous Forever Friends CD Rom.

gingham paper again is from PINK PETTICOAT...I have embossed a panel using Papermania Yachts folder i think this is the first time i have used this and it really is super. the decoupage as i have said is from the CD. I made bunting with the PP paper....the alphabet stickers are by American Crafts and DCWV which I coloured using Promarkers to get the desired colours as they were white!

 I am still using up papers from my stash and these delish beauties are by K and Co and distressed the edges using DI.....my image is coloured using SPECTRUM NOIR pens....I love this image...this card was for my friends 40th birthday a few weeks ago and she loved it :O)

I have added another doily (still loving them) and lace for texture....the foam numbers are by American Crafts...delish

Me To You ~ Tatty Teddy

Happy Friday peeps and Thank Crunchie its Friday been one of those weeks you want to forget. A funeral and we are having new flooring put in our bedroom so everything is out new laminate floor is down and just getting ready to put it all back....what a job thank goodness for helping hands!

Anyhoo todays card is using Tatty Teddy i adore these decoupage cuties from Do-Crafts I bought the new Spring CD Rom and was having a proper look last night and it is full to the brim I love it!

 I have used PINK PETTICOAT gingham paper.....delish!! Love gingham and especially for baby cards it works so well. i cuttlebugged the back panel and then adhered my Me To You decoupage to it...i love the sweet dummies i had to buy both pink and blue they are adorable....I bought them at my local craft shop Cardwell Garden Centre Craft shop.

 A very good morning peeps and its time for another fabulous challenge on

THE SUGAR BOWL

we have a fabulous sketch for you by the lovely Maria Therese and the theme is Kraft

Here is my interpretation of the fabby sketch......

 I have stamped POSY PIP by SUGAR NELLIE  using Memento ink and then coloured using my SPECTRUM NOIR pens  

• Skin ~ FS2, FS3, TN2
• Dress ~ PL1, PL2, LV1, LV2
• Hair ~ GB8, GB10, TN2
• Flower ~ PL1, PL2, LV2
• Leaves ~ CG1, CG2, DG2
• Plant pot ~ TN2, GB5, GB8
• Shadows ~ BGR1

I have used kraft as my card base and added white gel pen stitches around the edge.....embossed vintage wallpaper Stampin up embossing folder to the panel and then rubbed cream chalk ink over it. i added the doily (love these) Swiss dots cuttlebug embossing folder on the circle then attached the image using Collall 3D glue gel.....

Beady...Beady... Beady... Beady

 A very good morning from a very windy and miserable island.......telly is on and I have been sitting with a cuppa watching Sarah from BEADERS COMPANION Sarah will be back on Create and Craft at 1pm today with fabulous new Create Round Pendant kits and lots of demos too.

Last night I got the beading mat out and had a play......my daughter asked me to make her some jewelry and when I saw the new Epiphany Tool Epoxy circles and metal charms from CRAFTERS COMPANION I knew exactly what i wanted to make.

I have used a selection of Pearls  and put them onto an eye pin and then made a loop and attached to the chain

 ..............the pictures are from my daughters Wedding day and my adorable grandson....she is coming for lunch today so lets hope she likes it :O.......fingers crossed.

PENNY BLACK SATURDAY CHALLENGE

So here is my interpretation of this weeks theme

I am trying not to buy any stash (very difficult to keep to) as i have so much and I simply can't bring myself to sell it..... so I have decided to use it up! the paper on this card is by K and Company....I'm not normally a green person however I do love this paper :O) and think it works well with this image. the image is coloured using Spectrum Noir pens it looks purple in the picci however it is more pink IRL....I have added pearls to the top and bottom edges.

The flowers are by Prima and Martha Stewart punched leaves and frond to compliment them.

Waltzingmouse Stamps Friends February Blog Party

 A very good evening and thanks for stopping by.....tonight I have my February Waltzingmouse Stamps Blog Party creation to share with you...I loves my Waltzingmouse Stamps so this is one Party I won't miss!

This months theme is SPRING and here is my take on the theme!

 It has been ages since I made an Egg card and thought this was the perfect opportunity and get cracking....sorry...poor joke :O) I cut out an egg template and also made an egg template inner mat for future creations......I adore white on white so out came the white card and i embossed the top half of the inner mat using stitches embossing folder. I stamped Pic Nic Patterns background in Rose Red on the bottom half of the mat. I added pearl pen to the embossing for effect.

I stamped  Cameo to Go stamps in Rose Red and Crumb Cake and popped them up on dimensionals for effect.....I used one of the frames from Holiday Labels No14 and stamped  in Sage shadow by Stampin Up some seam binding, lace and a doily and there we have it....... Shabby Chic Easter Egg card!!

Clean and Simple Flower Fairies

A very good morning to one and all....todays card is featuring one of my Flower Fairy decoupage by CRAFTERS COMPANION....I adore these :O)

I have used this weeks sketch from CLEAN AND SIMPLE I loved it.......i have to admit and Iwill be using this one again for sure. Over on FLUTTER BY WEDNESDAY its "Anything with Wings" so this is fits perfect too. The card base is Kraft and i scored 3 lines at the side for effect. i attached half a doily to the outer edge and then added some leaves ribbon across and secured at the back! The flower is brodorie anglaise.  I ran a running stitch with thread along the edge and then pulled and secured. I topped it with a EPIPHANY FLOWER TOOL and the FLOWER BUTTON  tied with some cord.

Thank you to everyone for my get well wishes yesterday..I am feeling allot better today......so gonna get some house work and crafting done while watching Leann Chivers with The Pick of the Day on Ideal world and Create and Craft....don't forget to enter my candy.........time for a cuppa first :O)

Less is More ~ One Layer Stripes

 LESS IS MORE this week is One Layer Week with the the theme being Stripes!

I did struggle with this one i have to admit maybe because its been a very sad weekend for all the community here on the island. A young life lost....taken too soon! I have used Waltzing Mouse stamp set called Pic Nic Patterns and inked using Lucky Limeade by Stampin Up. I then stamped a Lovely as A Tree stamp and sentiment from Hopeful Thoughts SU stamp set using chocolate chip ink also from Stampin Up. I scored lines top and bottom of the card for effect!

 I have unfortunately had this awful upset tummy bug so I'm having a jammies day....keeping warm and chilaxing!!

Crafter's Companion ~ Epiphany Tool

 Another post from me this afternoon showing the fabulous new EPIPHANY TOOL brought to you by CRAFTERS COMPANION This time i have used a Flower Fairy....I have to admit i have a thing for Poppies....

 I have used Fairyopolis CD Rom and printed out papers and the Poppy Decoupage for my card. I added 3 Button Studio Flower embellishments i made using the the fabby new EPIPHANY SHAPE TOOL
I distressed the edges using TH distress ink to add depth to the card!

The New Epiphany Tool

 A very good morning to one and all....i want to share with you another creation i have using the fabulous brand new EPIPHANY TOOL  and accessories brought to you by CRAFTERS COMPANION

I have used my OLD FRIEND SWALK Stamp and coloured it using TWINKLING H2OS and WHISPERS PENS the papers are and flower are from SWALK CD ROM Vol 1 the centre of the flower has been made using the new EPIPHANY TOOL FLOWER BUTTON  and i have used the FLOWER BUTTON ACCESSORIES

Leann will be on Tool Shed from 12pm today on Create and Craft with the tools, and (if stocks last!) she'll be back on again at 5pm for an hour dedicated to these fantastic embellishment creators.

LETS CRAFT AND CREATE challenge this time is flowers so this fits perfect....the DT have provided fabulous inspiration as always...thank you girls

A very good morning and I am bursting at the seams to tell you my good news. I am back with the

Penny Black Saturday Challenge

here is my take on this weeks challenge

I have coloured this cutie using my fabby SPECTRUM NOIR pens. the background is embossed using Hearts cuttlebig embossing folder and i punched a border using my Martha Stewart zig zag punch!

I cut a felt heart out usig my cuttlebug heart punch and emboss set and then cut out another two smaller hearts free hand. i attached 3 gems to the large heart for effect!

Sheena Douglas Paint Fusion ~ Today is the Day

 A very good morning peeps I'm so excited today as its the launch of Sheena Douglas brand new shiny Paint Fusion CD Rom on Create and Craft at 12 noon......don't forget to tune in and see what other delish new products Sheena is bringing you....I must admit Sheena is my idol and it was a huge honour to have been able to make a few samples for her.....squeal!!!!!!.....

The paper is from the Paint Fusion CD Rom and i have distressed the edges with my scissors. I embossed the paper with Butterfly Swirls Darice embossing folder you can just make that out in the picci.... I stamped Silhouette Wildflowers by Sheena Douglas from the A Little bit sketchy range using versafine black ink and then shadow stamped again. to achieve this technique after you have stamped your image move it slightly and then stamp again no nedd to reink the stamp this is how it forms a shadow as their is less ink to transfer its a super effect.

 I love the fact that all Sheenas products can be used in conjunction with each other.......

Sheena Douglas Sneak Peek #4

 Another post from me today thought i would share another of my Sheena Douglas sneak peeks with you :O)
Sheena is on Create and Craft tomorrow at noon with a fabulous Pick of the Week for you and you are going to love it! Here is another wee taster from the fabulous Paint fusion CD Rom

I adore Lavender!! I helps me sleep when I'm stressed about anything a few dabs on my pillow and i'm in the land of nod in minutes. I love thse tage look at the detail on them!! Fabulous!! the paper is also from the Paint Fusion CD ROM as are  the embellishments. i added glossy accents to the butterfly...

I did distress the edges of the paper however the pictures doesn't really pick that up...sorry :O(

Well that's it form me tonight as I have a few things to do, create and I'm currently reading Before i go to Sleep by S J Watson and I want to finish it tonight...as i have a busy weekend ahead and probably won't get a chance to read.

A very good morning Sugar Fans i have exciting news to share....I have returned to being a

SUGAR BOWL SWEETIE .....SQUEAL!!! 

I missed it so much...and sugar Mama Gayle has agree to my return...thank you muchly lovely lady :O)

This time we have a sketch from the talented KIKI and the theme is LOVE

My interpretation of KIKI Sketch

I decided to come back with a WoW (white on white) card ......I have used HOLD ON TO MY HEART
by SUGAR NELLIE and coloured using my Speccies....i emebossed the back panel using my Hearts Embossing folder by cuttlebug and added a punched border. Navy gingham ribbon .....delish

I added an extra layer on the heart and topped with glossy accents although you can't really see it in the picci....I need photography lessons lol. I doodled around the outer edge and voila :O)

Sheena Douglas Sneak Peek #3

A very good evening peeps...thank you to everyone who left comments yesterday on my creations...I'm glad you like my Jewelry too as I will be sharing more Jewelry on my blog in future...:O)
I have another sneak peek to show you from the fabulous Paint Fusion CD Rom from SHEENA DOUGLAS launching on Friday 10th on Create and Craft at 12 noon.....

Now this card is a tad different from my normal style however I wanted to show you that you can use all Sheena products with each other. The pansies are from the new Paint fusion CD ROM its a decoupage element again....i added it to the bottom as I wanted it to look like a window effect. I stamped Peaceful Lakeside on to the back of Centura Pearl Snow White card and water coloured the image using Twinkling H2Os

After I had sent my samples off to Sheena I was editting my picture and think that the boats would look better if i had decoupaged them to make them pop....but I am extremely delighted with the results on this card....as I said before not my usual style and it was fun to play :O)

I have some fab news to share tomorrow...but all will be revealed in the morning...squeal!!

Beader's Companion ~ I'm a Little Beader

 Evening peeps....this evening I decided to get out one of the beading kits that I bought at Craftaganza by BEADERS COMPANION.

 So out came the mat, the kit got opened and sorted and with my tools at the ready........*gulp I began...I was really nervous as i didn't have Sarah with me to keep me right...

 I cut my wire attached it to the clasps and flattened my crimp bead........

 I layed out my beads in the design and then got to work.......

This is the first layer all done........I then continued and set out the second layer and then finished off the end.
I made a pair of earrings to match to complete the set.

I fell in love with this Create Drop Pendant Kit as soon as I saw it......this is the purple.....and I have decided to give it away as a gift.

I thoroughly enjoyed making this tonight....I have to say it really is all thanks to SARAH as at Craftaganza I didn't think I would be able to bead due to my Arthritis.....Sarah told me otherwise and I'm so glad she did...I'm a Happy Little Beader :O)

Crafters Companion DT ~ Introducing Epiphany Shape Punch

 A very good afternoon I have been itching to show you this tool since it landed at my house....SQUEAL you are gonna love love love these brought to you by CRAFTERS COMPANION....now for those who do not know I have Arthritis especially in my hands...so punches for me are a complete nightmare.....NOT ANY MORE...this baby is a dream to use...I NEED them all lol.....I was given the Button Flower to play with....since I luvs me buttons this was perfect for me.

 I have made a frame card from FAIRYOPOLIS SPRING/SUMMER CD ROM...... and added a satin bow.....
 I positioned my design paper where I wanted the design....this is what I love also abut this tool you get to see what you are punching :O) I took the backing off my button added it to the punch insert popped it in the punch and pressed....easy peasy lemon squeezy.........

 I added cord through my button and tie it for effect.........the sentiment is a rub-on from FAIRYOPOLIS

I will have more sneak peeks for you tomorrow........today I'm off to play with my EPIPHANY TOOL so see what else I can come up with..

Sheena Douglas Sneak Peek No 2

 A very good morning to one and all....I have another sneak peek for you today  from SHEENA DOUGLAS new PAINT FUSION CD Rom coming to you this Friday 10th on Create and Craft. Sheena really has excelled in this new venture...I lurvs it....have I already told you that lol

 This is my one of my favourites of the decoupage....I adore these Tulips......the backing paper is also from the CD Rom...another fabulous feature which i have embossed using the butterfly swirl Darice embossing folder from CRAFTERS COMPANION.

I have added Glossy Accents over the top layer of my tulip decoupage to make them shiny however you could always Paint Fusion on top too..... I added stickles around the edge of the matt...the detail on these images from the CD is fabulous it really looks like it have been Fusioned!! So what do you think?
