Sugar Nellie ~ Cherry Pip

A very good craftynoon to all. I have been having a play today with another of my new stamps from SUGAR NELLIE called Cherry Pip....Squeal..... isn't she just the cutest? I can't wait for the new Pips to come out... have you seen the sneak peaks yet? They are delish.
I have been a tad bored of my cards lately and just feel that they are not very inspirational so decided to  try something new...Lattice work... IT did take a bit longer to do however I am very pleased with my first attempt.

I have cut out an oval using a nestie and then weaved strips of card to form a Lattice effect. I added punched flowers around the edge and added a gem to the centre......love my bling.....CHERRY PIP by SUGAR NELLIE is paper pieced and coloured using my Spectrum Noir pens

I have finished my card by doodling around the edges...and voila
So whatcha think? I'd love to hear your views.

I'm entering this card into the following challenges ~

Thanks for taking the time to stop by today

Stampin hugs
Ali x

I think it's absolutely stunning Ali and must have taken you ages to do!! Well worth the effort, though, as the lattice effect and the flowers look so beautiful. Gorgeous image and a lovely, clean, fresh colour scheme. xxx

Brilliant combination of lattice & gingham - that's a super idea & appeals to my sense of whacky co-ordination (oops - no disrespect meant). There's a distinctly "Ali Look" about this too & I love the paper piecing & the flowers around the oval that echo her lacy edged petticoat.
