Do ~ Crafts Craft for Life Campaign

This years Do~Crafts Campaign is supporting Cancer Research UK. You can help in many ways and can read more about it on the Do~ Crafts web site. If you click the banner at the top of this page and it will take you directly to the information.

I am supporting the campaign by making A6 cards to hand in to my local Cancer Research shop. I managed to pick up some of the bags required yesterday when I was in my local(ish) carft shop.

This card is for the campaign. I will be trying to make as many as I can so I thought it would be a great idea to play along with the many challenges that are out there at the moment. So this card is for

Fabby cards from the DT and the theme this week is Thank you.

I have used a Hanglar image and coloured her using my prismacolor pencils and polychromos.
the papers are by Papermania and the ribbon is from my stash.
The Thank You sentiment is by Cuddly Buddly punched out using Stampin Up punches.

I stamped the sentiment using Close To Cocoa ink and inked around the edge of the oval.

.....and here we are all bagged up and ready to go. I will wait until I have quite a few before I hand them in to the shop. Maybe a dozen at a time.

Well Ihope you will make a card and help support the cmpaign. If every blogger made one card and handed it in to their local Cancer Research shop can you imagine the money that would raise.

go on join in

and

Thanks for taking the time to visit today I hope you have enjoyed your visit!

Stampin hugs

Great card Ali. I made loads for the appeal last year and managed to get enough bags for them. Since I started blogging I've made dozens of cards but unfortunately they are all square. Need to make some the right size.

What lovely gentle colours, I don't think I've seen these papers, I'll have to look out for them. I must pick up a few Appeal cello bags and get making.
This is a beautiful card Ali and will be snapped up as soon as it appears in the shop!

Hi Ali,
What a great cause. I made some cards for the Marie Curie Campaign last year, so I will definitely make some for Cancer Research this year. Thanks for letting us know about it.
