Penny Black Saturday - Recipe 3..2..1

It's a Recipe this week on Penny Black Saturday
  • 3.... Flowers
  • 2.... Papers
  • 1.... Ribbon
If you haven't already been over to peek at the DT examples i would highly recommend it they are a very talented bunch.

My card is for my MIL birthday tomorrow and I think she we love this card. Less sometimes is more. I think that we can get carried away with what we put on our cards and I think the image should be the main focus of the card. Everyone is different though, so this is only my opinion and the world would be a very boring place if we were all the same. My hubby says god help us if there are 2 of me in the world. I have absolutely no idea what he is on about, lol. Well i hope you like my card, I'm off now to make MIL & FIL crimbo card and the girls crimbo cards too. Lets hope i can work them around a wee challenge too. Have a fab evening and thanks for stopping by.

  • Stamp - Penny Black flowers, Penny Black butterfly
  • DP - Pink Petticoat
  • Embellies - Ribbon from stash
  • Sakura pen, cheapie pearl paints (like H2os)
*Please excuse poor quality of picture getting a decent photo just now is a nightmare, hubby is on the job building a lightbox soon i hope! Keeps him out of trouble for a wee while.*

Love this card Alison - those two stamps sit so well together and your colour scheme is so delicate. The whole effect is very understated and restful - love it!!
